Updates: another random community is now on WhatsApp + inviting guest writers
Just catching-up with y'all :)
Hey everyone 👋
Hope you’re all doing well!
Honestly, with this month’s issue, I was going to discuss how DevRel teams use AI in their workflows or whether the community-led growth model is legitimate in the newsletter. However, my work schedule this month has been a little ultra-intensive to the point where, unfortunately, it was not possible for me to write a properly researched article.
That said, this is a great opportunity for us to pause, reflect, and ask you all how the newsletter feels to you. It’s been over 2 years since we’ve been posting an issue every month I’d really love to take a moment with this one and learn what y’all think. I have 4 questions that I’d really love for y’all to answer if that sounds alright 👇
With that said, I have 2 other updates that I would love to discuss with you folks.
New community on WhatsApp 👨👩👧👦
I’m excited to share that we now have a community setup on WhatsApp for another random community! Now, whether we have updates regarding the newsletter or random community convos, this community will be our “one-stop shop” for folks reading the newsletter.
Inviting guest writers 📝
We would love guest writers to contribute to the newsletter, especially if someone likes to write about tech, communities, DevRel, mental health, and so on. There are certain values that we will look for in the content:
The content must carry your opinions and be unafraid. While we respect diplomacy, we encourage blunt honesty, even if it means disagreeing with the world.
The content must be substantiated by experiences, statistics, or other means. We want to maintain a certain level of depth while preventing blanket statements.
The content must educate. Voices are important, but they must carry some purpose.
If you have what it takes, please fill out our questionnaire 👇
Thank you, once again ❤️
Thank you so much to all of you for being active readers of this newsletter! I did not realise that we had crossed 2 years until it was pointed out to me by a friend, but I am very grateful to everyone who joined us along the way. We hope to continue writing, sharing opinions, creating discussions, and learning from everyone in the times to come.
Take care, everyone, and I hope to see you in the WhatsApp community 🫶
With warm regards,
Aditya Oberai
